This programme is aimed at Employees with IT experience , with Course delivery typically held online. The recruitment for this course will take place face-to-face and attendance is mandatory.
As part of this programme candidates will develop an understanding of the benefits of cloud computing from both a business and technical perspective. They will also learn what is involved in moving to a cloud environment and how the process is managed from a business and technical perspective.
The aim of the CompTIA Cloud Essentials CLO-001 is to provide candidates with an understanding of the fundamentals and business value of cloud computing and the steps involved in the successful adoption of the cloud from a business perspective. It will also cover the impact and changes on IT service management as well as risks and consequences.
It is recommended that candidates have between 24 and 36 months of work experience in networking, storage or IT data centre administration when applying for this course. Familiarity with any major hypervisor technologies for server virtualisation desirable but not essential.
