Who are we:

Óiliúna Training Limited is a renowned further education and training provider who has been delivering state funded courses for over two decades. 

In 2023, Óiliúna Training Limited was acquired by Chevron College – a Wexford based QQI accredited education provider, established in 2005. Speaking about the acquisition, President of Chevron College, Karl Fitzpatrick advised: “Óiliúna Training is a hugely successful provider in the training space and has built an excellent reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality training programmes to its learners.

Karl is the President and CEO of Chevron College, Managing Director of Oiliúna Training, Master Franchisee for Bricks 4 Kidz Ireland and a Past President of Wexford Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Wexford. Karl also presents Business Matters, South East Radio’s flagship business programme. This media platform provides him with unrivalled access to leading national and international business figures, in both the public and private sectors.

I joined Chevron College in April 2022 and became part of the Oiliúna Team in January 2023. With nearly 20 years of experience in management, I initially took on the role of Contracted Training Manager for the DDELTB and WWETB region. In April of that year, I was promoted to Tutor Co-ordinator, a position that allows me to focus on fostering strong relationships with our tutors. I’m passionate about supporting the team.

The user joined Chevron College in 2020 as a training administrator, becoming a training manager in 2022 before moving to Oiliuna Training Limited. Returning to education after leaving school early, they completed an ETB QQI Level 4 course and a Master’s in Child, Youth, and Family. This experience drives their passion for making education accessible for employment, career growth, or personal development. As a training manager, they support diverse learners with empathy and management skills, ensuring a positive learning experience. They value open communication and teamwork at Oiliuna Training Limited.

I joined Chevron College in 2019 and became part of the Oiliuna team also in 2023. I am the Contracted Training Student Enrolment Manager for Oiliuna (and Chevron College), advertising and recruiting learners for our diverse range of funded courses which we deliver for ETB Training Centres nationwide. 

I am a people person and so I thrive on engaging with learners and employers, establishing their training goals, building relationships, and helping them embark on their learning journeys with us.

I joined the Chevron College team in 2020 as the National Contracted Training Manager. When Chevron College acquired Oiliúna Training in 2023, my role expanded to overseeing four teams working with 12 ETBs throughout Ireland. With over 10 years of experience in Contracted Training Management and more than 16 years in the training sector, I understand the challenges of further education—whether you’re retraining, advancing your career, or making a complete career change. My mission is to ensure that Oiliúna offers the most accessible and supportive team possible to assist learners on this journey.

With a Graduate Diploma in Adult and Further Education and a Level 8 BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care, I’ve dedicated over 20 years to working in the education sector. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of creating and supporting learning opportunities that make a real difference in people’s lives.

As a Contract Training Manager, I work closely with Education and Training Boards to deliver innovative and meaningful training opportunities that help learners achieve their goals and unlock their potential.

I have managed global training initiatives across diverse operational teams, including Sales, Technical Support, Customer Service, Online Media Financial Services, and Specialised Telecommunications for Government Blue Light Agencies.

I have worked with Oiliuna for 7 years, four years as an educator and three years as a contract training manager. I am passionate about educating for every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances. What I love most about contract training is organising the running of each day, planning ahead and solving problems that may arise. Outside of work I love to spend my time farming.
